Noah Gundersen's voice is a subtly multifaceted instrument on its own, imbuing his quiet folk with a sense of urgency and gravitas that acoustic strumming alone can't adequately convey. Fans of Sufjan Stevens, Josh Ritter, or Conor Oberst will find much to appreciate in Gundersen's style, illustrated most recently on the 2011 EP, Family, a touching collaboration with his violinist sister Abby.
